"SafariAI built our 10-day Tanzania safari in three minutes. Three. Minutes. Better than what our travel agent quoted for triple the price."

"The wildlife identifier blew our kids' minds. Snap a photo, get the species, conservation status. They learned more in a week than a year of school."

"Booked from Tokyo, paid via PayPal, messaged the operator in Japanese (SafariAI translated). Smoothest international booking I've done. Will return."
Africa Safaris is an AI-powered safari intelligence platform connecting travellers with verified safari operators across 20 African countries. Our AI engine SafariAI crafts custom itineraries in seconds, identifies wildlife from photos, and supports 30 languages. We offer secure bookings, in-app messaging with operators, and contribute 3% of every booking to anti-poaching conservation.
When is the best time for an African safari?+
The best time for an African safari is during the dry season, June to October in East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya) and May to September in Southern Africa. The Great Migration in the Serengeti peaks July through October. For mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda and Rwanda, June-September and December-February offer the best trail conditions.
How much does an African safari cost?+
Budget safaris start at $150-250 per person per day. Mid-range safaris run $350-600 per day. Luxury safaris range from $800-2,000+ per day. A typical 7-day safari for two costs $3,000-8,000 mid-range or $12,000-25,000 luxury. Africa Safaris guarantees the best price — find a lower verified quote and we match it.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Africa Safaris uses PayPal exclusively for all payments. PayPal accepts all major currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, JPY and 25+ others) and processes credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) — guests don't need a PayPal account to pay. All booking payments are held in secure escrow until the safari completes, protecting both travellers and operators. Booking your safari on Africa Safaris is free for tourists — we don't charge booking fees; you pay the operator's listed price.
Can I volunteer in Tanzania through Africa Safaris?+
Yes. Africa Safaris operates an exclusive volunteer programme in Tanzania with six placement streams: wildlife research in the Serengeti, anti-poaching support in Ruaha, marine conservation in Zanzibar, reforestation around Mount Kilimanjaro, eco-tourism education, and giraffe conservation in Tarangire. Placements range from 1 to 6 months. Our volunteer programme is Tanzania-exclusive.
What is your refund policy?+
Africa Safaris × SafariAI operates a strict no-refunds policy. All payments — including booking payments, listing tier fees, and volunteer application fees — are final and non-refundable once captured by PayPal. This applies regardless of when you cancel. Please review the relevant legal agreement (Tour Operator, Accommodation, or Volunteer) carefully before paying. Operators who cancel a confirmed booking are responsible for arranging a substitute experience directly with the affected guest at their own expense.
Is it safe to travel to Africa for a safari?+
Yes, established safari destinations in Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana, South Africa, Rwanda, Namibia, and Uganda are very safe for tourists. National parks have professional rangers, and licensed operators follow strict safety protocols. Africa Safaris only lists operators with valid government tourism licences. We hold all payments in escrow until your safari completes.
What makes Africa Safaris × SafariAI different?+
Africa Safaris × SafariAI is AI-first. SafariAI plans itineraries in seconds, identifies wildlife from photos, and chats naturally in 30 languages. We also have a native mobile app, in-app messaging with operators, admin-coordinated calling, a Tanzania-exclusive volunteer programme, accommodation listings with 0% commission, and 3% of every booking funds anti-poaching conservation.

Africa is not a country. It is a continent of two thousand languages, fifty-four nations, and a wilderness that has shaped the human imagination for two hundred thousand years. We are honoured to be your guide.
